Information clause on personal data processing of a participant of Social Boundaries of Work 2020 Conference

In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (OJ EU. L. 2016.119.1), hereafter referred to as the GDPR, I hereby inform that:

The Administrator of your personal data is Polish Sociological Association, address: Nowy Swiat 72, 00-330 Warsaw.

Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

– Participation in an on-line conference Social Boundaries of Work 2020, that will be held on 28 and 29 October 2020.

– Direct marketing.

Legal basis for data processing is the Article 6(1) points (b), (c) and (f) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR),  for the performance of the contract, within the legitimate interest of data Administrator, i.e. contacts in relation to the participation in the event and sending of direct marketing information regarding products and services.

In connection with Article 6 (1) points (b), (c) and (f) of the GDPR, in order to achieve the above-mentioned purposes we may process the following information about you:

  • first name and last name,
  • name of the institution,
  • e‑mail address.

Providing data is voluntary, but it is necessary to take part in the event and receive direct marketing information.

Data other than those collected through the registration form will not be processed by the Administrator.

Your personal data may be transferred to the entity providing HR and accounting services and other entities authorized by the law.

Your personal data will be processed for the period of organizing the event, and until you object to receive direct marketing information, as well as in the period specified by the law, in particular, the period of pursuing possible claims.

The data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area or to any international organization.

You have the right to access, rectify, delete or limit the processing of your personal data, to transfer your data and the right to object to its further processing.

Should you consent to the processing of your data, you have the right to withdraw your consent. Exercising your right to withdraw your consent does not affect the processing that has taken place up to the time of withdrawal.

The Administrator hereby informs that it does not process data for automated decision making, including profiling.
